Basic but clean
stayed at this property for four nites on a business trip for which paid for own expenses. the property is old and somewhat rundown in addition overall it's spotless. it's also true that for the most part everything worked, eg hot water, plumbing etc. BUT, the level of service, although friendly is poor. One day they failed to spotless hotel room and other small disturbances like this. The most difficult thing is that many guests of the property seem to be "drifters". could understand a single woman being uncomfortable here. Otherwise, if you're on a budget it offers acceptable accommodation.
Stay away if you can
Totally disappointing, rooms filthy, TV, remote, fridge not working; electrical outlets life threatening, drifters seem to live there; worst "HoJo" ever seeen in US; RUN! Booking over the net can be bad news sometimes!
HOJO IN TAMPA
THIS IS A NICE ECOMOMICAL property. OUR hotel room WAS spotless AND SPACIOUS. THE REFRIGERATOR WAS great SIZE, NOT THE LITTLE BITTY ONE. THE TRAFFIC NOISE LEVEL WAS A LITTLE HIGH DUE TO THE LOCATION SO CLOSE TO THE INTERSTATE. WOULD RECOMMEND this property TO ANY COUPLE OR BUSINESS TRAVELER, in addition FEEL THE LANDSCAPE IS A LITTLE TO COMPACT FOR CHILDREN.

stayed 2 years in a row.both times filthy,old,no elevators. broken facilities in the room,pick up from busch took litterly hours. check-in was horrible. never again
Don't expect much
stayed here for two days/nites and wasn't overly pleased. This is definitely a 'get what you pay for place.' great cost and you get the basics. Nothing more. The old hotel stench will hit you when you walk into the room. biggest problems were that tub was filthy and even when requested service, they never came to spotless it. This, after they already skipped by hotel room to begin with. This place works best if you just need one night to stay overnight and have no other expectations.
